Sunflower seeds made by cheap labor?
Art can change and express most of ideals and messages for people in the world. The visual of artistic objects is one of the major elements. The other important thing is what feeling want to give people and what information people get it. The majority of artists care about society such as Ai Wei Wei.
In <NEVER SORRY> documentary, I think that Sunflower Seeds is powerful for describing the situation of small and undeveloped suburbs in China. All of seeds made by humans from a famous town which has a lot of porcelain product called Jingdezhen. Every seeds need to have an intricate process. It is a horrible project because 1600 people made a vast of look like real sunflower seeds. What is the meaning?
In my opinion, many people are unemployment in China. That is why they can do this job. Even they must to do the same job everyday in order to produce ‘’seeds’’ in limit time. They were glad when they earned salary that is really low price. I think that people can’t say anything but government should solve the problem. Every people and cheap labor have right that protect themselves.
All in all, the activity is wonderful. A lot of small thing can combine for become more stronger than before including people.
